1.4 Humble Origins: Game On

Ahote and Dyami followed everyone out to the soccer field. The sun beamed down over the field illuminating Ahote’s angst. As the group of kids decided on him and Zachary as captains his palms began to sweat. Ahote glanced over to Chenoa who was standing on the other side of the fence with the rest of girls as he took his position beside Zachary in front of everyone.

“Zachary you can pick first since you are new.” Ahote said.

“Thanks.” Zachary said. “Um I’ll take Sota.” Zachary said.
